Nature

The Boyne Valley is home to diverse flora and fauna.  It is a mix of river flats through to rugged ranges, and retains large tracts of forest. The Valley is a transition area between bioregions, leading to a great deal of diversity.

Many thanks to Maggie Stanek, RIP, for her work assembling this information, and the kind bequest of her book collection which is now our library at the Boyne Valley Community Discovery Centre.

Please browse the individual nature pages for further information.
